I take it most people haven't played the BF that was free to play on PC back in the day.

Combat Arms was better than it!!!

It makes me laugh that apparently there's so many people don't like 2042 and it's specialists but yet Portal is dead. They have their old Battlefield there but why is nobody playing it? Doesn't make sense unless we now live in a world where no matter what you have, folk like to complain.

Those two words cannot exist together in my world of gaming.

Every battlefield released is my go to game until the next battlefield releases though I was late to the party for BC1 because I was still playing battlefield on PC back then which must have been 2142.

My least favourite would have to be the base game of BF2, it was a big let-down after BF1942 and I dropped it as soon as the DLCs released like Special Forces.

No they killed progression because the usual exploiters created XP farming servers.

Turns out most people don't want to play dated battlefield games when they have a brand new shiny one to play instead.

Can you Please Stop Spamming in every post just to insult People?

Easy Solution for farming: No XP or lese XP for different settings and parameters in Portal. Problem solved. Turn up the damage modifier by 50%? Get 50% lese XP.

Last time I checked, there's nothing currently for sale in the store.  So please take your "microtransations, reeeeeeee" somewhere else.

If you don't take the time to match ADS, with where the shots ACTUALLY hit, you don't know how bad this game is. This many people should never be talking how bad a BF game is... but they are

Because the BF3/BC2 factions have everything unlocked for them, there is no progression what so ever. We can't use the 2042 era stuff either those factions. The classes are still stuck in the 2042 mindset of only having one gadget slot for us to pick from..

You have to buy into the battle pass to get a persistent server, the list goes on.

2042 might be a fun hero shooter...but it is a disgrace of a Battlefield game. Hardline is better, just on principle because it still had the traditional Battlefield formula. Same with 5...

No, just remove XP from AI kills...simple.

No need to punish those who want to play Hardcore.

Just either remove xp gains from servers who have AI enabled...or enabled not as filler. Or just remove xp from any bot kill you get.. ' not actually subtracting your xp, just no xp for bot kills '

But honestly, there are more issues wrong with Portal then the lack of XP 

Gotta buy into a battle pass just to get persistent servers. Fine, if I plan on using the Battle Pass... but not if I don't plan on it..

The class system is still based off of 2042s system, where we only get to pick one gadget, instead of the 2 how we always had it.

Furthermore, everything is already unlocked for the older eras...so progression is pointless. Especially sense the older eras can't even use the 2042 stuff they unlock.

Seriously, our ONLY gripe about the game is the stupid specialists and the lack of real classes and real soldiers.

I would be fine if the BF3 and BC2 factions could use the 2042 era weapons, gadgets and vehicles and actually progress through the unlocks and such for them.. 

Cause atleast then it would make sense playing it. Considering portal hasn't even gotten 1 new legacy map sense launch...the most we can play on are 2042 maps ' most as in the amount of maps available ' so we might as well get to use 2042 weapons and stuff. After all, Portal is suppose to be a ' sandbox ' isn't it? -.-
