@Huntnwabits I highly doubt that based on other people's comments on Battlefield official Facebook page and Reddit. Not to mention some Youtubers as AKA Art

Let me break the silence...The game isn't dead yet...it's on life support. Behind the curtain they are busy pointing fingers to each other, and decide who will do the major surgery. Will this game rise as the million dollar man( yes i'm old), or will it be as the creature from Frankenstein.

@Trokey66Yeah but mm takes longer and longer each day. When it gets late in the evening (in Europe at least), it often takes a long time to find and start games (like minutes sometimes).

The 128 player games and non-persistent lobbies were big mistakes, they have done nothing good for the game, but instead resulted in lots of waiting and wasting time between rounds.

The biggest issue, still not map rotation with the same set of players. EVERYTHING that made past BF games fun, they removed from 2042. It feels very isolated when playing. In BF 4 there were 2-3 weat coast server i knew there will always be a few players on it i knew. Thats part of the fun. Just like trash talk. But that was also removed. 2042 is un-savable. Period.

I´ve been playing since BF2 and every game had  some mess at launch but none of them were such a mess as BF2042 is.

Dead.

People aren't interested in 2042. If it was a better game, people would be watching people play it. The current iteration of DICE isn't the group who brought us the games we love and are incapable, apparently, of recreating a Battlefield experience. So, they try to replicate a different experience that is popular. Some of you, well a very few I guess, will like this change, but for the vast majority, Battlefield is dead.

@olT3loNow is the time (maybe too late) that DICE show that they are capable to fix this broken mess. As we all know there is a lot to do for them, so it ain't be fix in a couple of days. At this point there is nothing we can do, only guess and hope.
And like i said earlier in a post, that it would be nice they give us an daily/weekly update on their progress and upcomming fixes. hopfully by doing this people stay informed and interested in 2042.
So my advise to Dice is: Listen, Focus, communicate, Work hard, and last but not least....This is official BF forum....don't be shy to use it..not all of us use reddit.

For now i leave you all with this:

Totally agree DICE need to take notice of the vast amount of feedback given by players daily on these Official BF2042 Forums.

DICE also need to bring the player base along with them, and communicate regularly on these Official Forums rather than us hearing news second hand,. This forum should be where news relating to BF2042 appears first. !!

Battlefield's not dead but this game certainly is. EA/Dice went woke, then took "off for the Holidays" and left us players to chew on it and swallow and this is what it got them and us! It's like pulling teeth to get them to truly revise the scoreboard into what the players want. They play dumb and show a half * sample scoreboard that's got none of the guts that players want. They do this because they think they should try to effectuate societal change, like that's what all reasonable people should want because if you don't want it you know what you are.
