Are you still running into the same issues when you're trying to play?
If so, does it seem like it's happening when you're queued for a specific map or game mode, or is just any match you're trying to join?
I can say I am still having this issue on PS5 and have been since the day the game was released. I can get into a game every now and then, but 90+ percent of the time I cannot. It says joining game, I get the shot of the camera rotating around my character, and then a black screen, then a loading icon, then back to the screen I launched from.
I've tried the connectivity guide, nothing changes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. My internet is plenty fast enough, but to get into a game its a series of shutting down the game and restarting, trying different game modes, disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet, then if i'm lucky I can join a game after about...15-20 minutes of trying random fixes per game. Last night I managed to get one game in, then could not connect to another game after 30 mins of trying. I have not been able to connect to a single Hazard Zone game, ever. I cannot get games to launch in solo / coop mode, and I cannot join Portal games either.
I enjoy the game when it connects, and playability wise I have no complaints with how the game runs, but its such a hassle to join servers that it makes it difficult to even bother trying.
Happens when I first start the game, and always after I manage to get in to a game. After today's update, I can't get into a game at all...tried for over a hour.

Can we try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help stop this from happening?

I've tried the troubleshooting tips you posted, as well as reinstalling the game multiple times, but I cannot get it to sign into ea at any point.
It comes up as a notification saying screen recording is off due to blocked scene or whatever, then I get the menu to accept ea's terms then it just cuts out either before I get a chance to click x or just after I click x and before I get to click next.
"The connection with ea was lost " every time. Not sure what to do to actually play this game.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hello, I have purchased this version of Benefield on PlayStation five haven’t been able to play a game since I have purchased it. I load up the game and I am stuck in a continuous loop. It’s asking me to reset my password because my login confidential have expired. I have done so still having that issue. Can you please solve my problem as I haven’t played the game once since I purchased it. Thank you
@EA_Kent This is a known issue. And has been since december. There are multiple threads on this here, and if you do a google search, you will see that it is a global issue. Not dependent on where you are, or what time of day it is, or even what type of console you have, having the game cross play enabled by default, pretty much makes it impossible for people that turn it off, to find a match. (With cross play turned of or on, in system level does not matter. We have tried)
Doesn't matter if you even turn it off in system level on the Xbox either... if you turn it off, you not ever finding a match. I have to keep it on, so at the very least. An play the game to get some sort of progression on my battle pass ...% talk about a total waste of money on battlepass.. facing hackers just makes progression soooooo slow, it's mind bending
1year, and this problem is still a issue... I mean, this is very bad. Forcing console players to have to put up with hackers and cheaters at all. Breaking the promise that was made to the player base! Many people buy consoles, for excatly this reason alone. But nope, with battlefield 2042, we where promised the option to turn it on or off. But the reality is, that it is turned on, and you can turn it off. If you turn it off, there are no games to be found. I tried for 3 hours yesterday, just to stream it, and record it. Becauae I spent around 150€ spent in game, and on the actually game. Coz I spent around 150€ on this, before knowing that this even was a issue. Jke is on me obviously, but not for long. This game will die eventually, unless you attend to the console community and fix this issue. Seriously, I have seen so many complain about it.. and in Facebook I even made a poll asking how many where experiencing this issue. There was 88% that had the same issue.. just look at the picture attached here...
When is this going to be addressed ? Or should we just star asking for our money back ?

Do the things reported here in the forum, get reported to the right places ? I am asking, because I see so many topic on this, for both Xbox series x/Xbox & playstation.
And the fact that Xbox one players don't get to play with Xbox series x players, I think is making matters even worse!
Same goes for playstation 4 and playstation 5 players... This game should have console crossplay option enabled only. And PC crossplay could be turned on for the people that want it, when and IF they want it..
I know map size for next gen, and last gen is a issue probably. But then at the very least give us with Xbox series x, the option to play with last gen players, with less players on the map. (Same for playstation).
Something needs to happen when it comes to this, and it needs to happen fast. It's almost been 1 year with the same issue! 😡
@EA_Kent ohh btw, it's on all maps, and modes. Absolutely all. Hazard zone as well. And no AI filling up servers when we que up. When I que up, I usually see 1 or 2 players join the lobby, and after a while we all ping out. We get booted/kicked from the lobby when it times out. Sometimes this can take up to 5-10minutes it seems
I know. This is why they need to patch the game asap, and have crossplay off by default. And the ones wanting to play with PC players, can go back in and turn it off... Simple fix.
Instead of shutting out a whole community, and risking of how long this game will survive on console. The majority of console players are casuals and they aren't going to be bothered playing this game, if they need to be sweaty everytime they ay it. Due to hackers and cheaters.
And they should make it so playstation and Xbox could play together as an option. Even PS4 vs PS4 players (coz atm, PS4 players arnt able to play against PS5 players). Same on Xbox one vs Xbox series x, as Xbox one is limited to 64 ayer maps, and series x is running 120+ player maps... This also is contribution to the issue at hand.
As they then did dividing the whole console platform into 4 diffrent parts... Not the brightest idea I have seen to be honest, as the majority arnt even able to get a PS5 or Xbox series x...They should make it possible for Xbox one/Xbox one x Ayer's, to play against Xbox series s and series x players imo.

I will post every day, until this has been addressed in the public, and that DICE makes some sort of announcement that this is going to be fixed very soon...
Even the YouTube dealer gaming, had to mention this topic on his podcast... I mean, kinda shows this is a big problem 🤷
Let us at the very least progress the battlepass we paid for, in solo mode, when the game is so broken, that we can't find a game on console! Seriously. With all the hacking in battlefield on PC, it makes it a slow grind. Not even sure many people will be able to get to the level they need to. I assure you, this will affect the next battlepass. The amount of players that will buy it, will go down for sure, unless Dice addresses the whole cross play issue
