@VBALL_MVPAlso if i talk from today till 2042 you won't understand, since your questions tell me that you either a squad player or a solo player
Not a team player , in bf5 there was something I really loved , taking a peak at the scoreboard to see how many medics are there if very few we go full medic squad if there's alot I go one medic in squad , simple stuff that you should understand before throwing any questions ... simple stuff for ( team players )
Your assessment of me couldn't be any more off. I don't know if that was your attempt in deflecting my question on how specialists prevents team play or not.
You refenced a feature in BF5, this was also in BF1 and just because one was able to see if there were very few medics, that never ever guaranteed that people were going to start to switch classes. On top of that this "feature" wasn't in BC2, BF3, BF4, nor Hardline (that's as far back my playing has gone) so since this is a fairly new thing that was put it, how does this strengthen your argument for classes? It only has been in 2 titles in the past 11 years. What you are actually doing is generalizing all players based on your own playstyle which is a subjective approach.
Again, you still have the ability to switch to a medic, or a support type specialist and do the same things as you did before (revive, heal, supply) so I will ask again, how does specialist prevent team play?
::EDIT:: Also BFV you started to see the specialist developing, for example they had "combat roles". No more engineer, you were support with an engineer combat role. What about pilot and tanker "classes" and BF1's Calvary class? How is BF2042 not an expansion on a previous title that you state was done "right".
