@CantGetRight i see you roam around defending the game everywhere, do you really enjoy it habibi?

Tell me what makes it a great game I'm listening
  • @G-ReconsI enjoy the specialist, the bigger maps, the larger teams. It gives me a BF2 vibe. Sure it has its issues but what BF game didn't when it was released. I certainly enjoy it more than BF1 & 5.  What I can't stand are the people just hanging around to keep hating on the game and giving no constructive feedback.  I am sure they have said their peace in a hate thread. Shy why not just leave.

That's amazing i wish we would enjoy and love the game as much as you one question Are you a viechle player?

What makes us hate the game is the atmosphere and as an infantry players we hate this game so much because we have no room there to play fairly

The specialists are something else we like Battlefield to remain Battlefield real soliders war atmosphere majority of us hate the specialists first because they replaced the classes that many of us believe they have huge impact on the team play , second they're cringe and childish

Not to mention that the content is a mess first of all you get attachments that do the exact same thing second you have few weapons and they're not even useful, in bfv weapons were few too but each was interesting in it's on , the atmosphere of bfv was a real war same goes for bf4 and the best of all Bad Company 2

All we wanted is what we love about battlefield

And for portal there's no progress in weapons there few and all unlocked nothing special

    Scoreboard voice chat ui modification

    Man the list is many

But if you're a vehicle player you won't feel us

I think you forget about BF3 and BF 4.  While there were a plenty of weapons, majority of them were not useful.  You would see literally everyone running the same handful of weapons, only using the new ones to unlock achievements.  BF3 everyone ran the same gun attachments and while BF4 they made it more beneficial to use different attachments it wasn't that diverse.  So I am not sure that the attachment argument is strong one.

I am not sure what you mean about infantry has a hard time to play fairly.  Since BFBC2 a vehicle junky can get insane kill streaks and dominate the board.  BF4, it wasn't uncommon to see pilots and tank operators go 50 or 60 kills.

As far as the specialists not contributing to team play, I really like you to explain how it does.  I mean you still have loadouts to allow you to be a medic, assault, recon, you just also have the ability to combine this with a specialist.  I see this is just a variable of the "perks" feature in previous titles.  Really how does this differ from previous games where there are squads of Recons, support players who only throw ammo boxes for themselves, or medics who run right by you (or worse only carry med packs and no defibs).

@VBALL_MVP Also if i talk from today till 2042 you won't understand, since your questions tell me that you either a squad player or a solo player

Not a team player , in bf5 there was something I really loved , taking a peak at the scoreboard to see how many medics are there if very few we go full medic squad if there's alot I go one medic in squad , simple stuff that you should understand before throwing any questions ... simple stuff for ( team players )

Your assessment of me couldn't be any more off. I don't know if that was your attempt in deflecting my question on how specialists prevents team play or not.

You refenced a feature in BF5, this was also in BF1 and just because one was able to see if there were very few medics, that never ever guaranteed that people were going to start to switch classes.  On top of that this "feature" wasn't in BC2, BF3, BF4, nor Hardline (that's as far back my playing has gone) so since this is a fairly new thing that was put it, how does this strengthen your argument for classes?  It only has been in 2 titles in the past 11 years.  What you are actually doing is generalizing all players based on your own playstyle which is a subjective approach.

Again, you still have the ability to switch to a medic, or a support type specialist and do the same things as you did before (revive, heal, supply) so I will ask again, how does specialist prevent team play?

::EDIT::  Also BFV you started to see the specialist developing, for example they had "combat roles".  No more engineer, you were support with an engineer combat role.  What about pilot and tanker "classes" and BF1's Calvary class?  How is BF2042 not an expansion on a previous title that you state was done "right".

@VBALL_MVP Why going backwards and never having the perfect mix? The classes had great work in bf4/3 there's a tank there's medic in the squad then the risk is less , there's a medic w can cross, in bfv the classes being there in the scoreboard made it even better, so if you don't get it a class limit you on using the gadgets, you want that weapon you have those gadgets use them , a rocket launchers are linked to specific weapons , limitations will put some force of team play, good luck finding teamplay with those specialist when everyone is running around by themselves with a rocket launcher and if by luck they got ammo, it's for themselves won't throw it to you

You are still limited here with specialists.  For example you cant run a med kit and a ammo bag.  You make it sound like you don't have to rely on team play. Again, I suggest you look at previous forums, you make it seem like everyone held hands and worked together, that was far from the case.   Dice has been trying to force team play since god knows how long now with different "carrots" and "sticks" yet in the end it is the same thing over and over, people not playing as a team.

So you believe in teamwork, great, but just because you do doesn't automatically suggest everyone else does, the history says otherwise.  There is no data out there showing that team work happened more in BFV than other previous titles and there is no data stating the amount of teamwork has lessened either.  In the end, its a false blanket statement you are using to defend classes.  Again just go into previous title forums and you can see the same complaints, so it has nothing to do with specialists.
