easy anti cheat

Question

I keep getting this error and booted from every match though I'm not using any foreign software/ cheating. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my game as well as verified the integrity of my files and turned off my firewall after ensuring 2042 was allowed through it (allowing it through didn't work so I disabled the firewall in case it was stopping the anti cheat). I ensured all my drivers were up to date as well as my game version and steam version as well as my windows. I wanna play but have no idea what to do now, please help.

@murdocklawless It’s a known issue, anyone can google it and either there are a lot of cheaters all claiming fan control caused the ban, I think it’s more likely that it’s a false reading. Your only option is to contact support and hopefully be able to show that was indeed the issue.

Some hacks are named as safe exe's but if the hashes or sizes don't match it could get flagged.

Or

you had cheats on before and uninstalled them but there are artifacts left

Or

you downloaded hacks and the exe or zip are visible on your comp.

Or

you downloaded p*&n and it had a hack exe in it.
