Did those, this is a new box running Win 11 Pro with all the latest updates, same goes for the video driver, System file checker and other tools verfied file integrity. EA file verification came back clean. I've been through these forums and have tried everything. Nothing worked. Months went by, never got it to run.
Then, this month, NVidia released an update for my RTX 3080, and BF2042 ran! Ran really well too. I was enjoying it for about as week in a half.
Then one day, I fire it up. The EA app indicated that it had been updated and that the "EA app needs to restart". BF2042 didn't run after that EA app update.
Look, I ran across this in your forums, a user recommended an update to C++ framework from Microsoft. It's worked, I'm back in. This should be helpful to others.

Got to play for several days, and now BF2042 is failing to launch. No error message, no changes detected to software, but it could have updated. But I'm back to failure to launch.
I have the same issue.
After the splash screen it just goes back to the EA APP.
I have tried making .exe files running as admin. I have re-installed windows 11, and reformatted the drives so all drives were clean.
Any updates on this from your side?
