Re: Battlefield 2042 Blue Screen after update 1.1

I fixed it, as I stated above, by re-installing the EasyAntiCheat software. It's apparently a known issue. I should've been more clear though. By "random" I meant usually after a major update where seemingly EAC gets corrupted, I fix it and that's it.

Edit: BUT this is when it's blue screening immediately after the EAC splash screen either when launching the game or EVEN right after a "repair" through origin (which launches EAC afterwards for an update I assume?).

    Rename the old folder name from eac to anything else
    Then reinstall new eac with admin rights !

    Blue screen can be lots of things

    Did ya check windows for error ?

    Use in prompt (with admin rights) -> sfc /scannow

    (reduced the all caps to use an indoor voice) - Atic
