BF2042 Checking data

Message is - WARNING: Your save files are corrupt and could not be read by the game. Continuing will overwrite the corrupt save file. I have contacted EA Help and they said it was a hardware error. Obviously, they did not reference the case file 54907856 that I had opened, and they would have noticed that this error is occurring on two different computers. A Razor Blade 15 running WIN 11 Home, all up to date drivers and patches. and a custom rig running WIN 10 Pro, fresh OS install up to date drivers and patches. Clearly not a hardware issue.

Upon launch the BF REDUX screen launches, goes to black loading screen and then the game minimizes to the taskbar, and I get the pop up. I click on OK and it is locked.  I have to go into task manager and end the game.

This is the exact same problem on both devices. As stated the WIN 10 is a brand new build, completely up to date drivers and the Razer after it crashed I unistalled the EA app the game and conducted fresh installs. 

This appears to be a problem with my saved data in the BF2042 cloud vice on the devices. BF5 runs fine. BF20142 is unplayable as it will not launch.
