Audio stuttering/crackling after win 11 update

I have been playing BF2042 in my gaming PC without any issues using windows 10, pretty nice performance and the audio used to be smooth and without issues.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and now the audio in the game has this constant stuttering, crackling and overall just a bad experience with it. I have reinstalled audio drivers, BF2042 game, installed latest updates for Win11 and reinstalled graphic drivers, but the audio problems still persist. No other game in my library does have any audio problems like BF does (tested with Destiny 2, Rainbow 6 Siege, Portal 2).

Another thing to note is that at times the game will ignore my keyboard key entries (pressing W, moving forward will suddenly stop moving even as I am still pressing W) so I am not sure if these are related items.

For audio I am using a Steel Series Nova Pro X DAC connected to the PC using a USB cable and the headset is wireless to the DAC.
