Summarize your bug I have a brand new PC that I purchased the game for. Previously, I've been playing on PS5. As I was configuring my settings, I noticed that the specific settings for controller overwrite settings under the keyboard and mouse section, vice versa. Since there are sub-menus for controller and keyboard and mouse, the game should be saving settings for each input method independently, but it does not. Instead of saving settings independently for keyboard and mouse, and controller, the game will just overwrite previously configured settings in the other sub-menu.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Example - Under the Keyboard and Mouse sub-menu, all of the Invert vertical look settings could be set to "no". Then, if you navigate to the Controller sub-menu and change any of the vertical look settings (i.e. - pilot, vehicle passenger, etc), it will change in both places (Controller and Keyboard and Mouse sub-menus). I've attempted various settings changes to circumvent this, but the game will not save the settings independently.
What happens when the bug occurs? Previously configured settings for "vertical look" under different sub-menus are overwritten.
What should be happening instead? There are 2 different sub-menus in the game: Keyboard and Mouse and Controller.. The game will save other settings aside from vertical look independantly. Therefore, the intended behavior would be for vertical look to be saved independantly for Controller and independantly for Keyboard and Mouse.
This issue can be easily replicated so this is not necessary. Simply plug in a controller to any PC and attempt to set vertical look under each sub-menu and you will encounter the issue.
