Text chat is not showing any messages for me

Summarize your bug Text chat is not displaying any text (when I type text in my name is in yellow).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Access text chat in a server of human players or type text in chat, there is no response.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot see any text in the chat from anyone and if I enter text my name is shown in yellow.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to see some kind of text in the chat from other human players.
Good evening, I just reinstalled Battlefield 2042 a few days ago (coming back after a 2 year break from the game) and I can't see any text chat in the text chat box when I play on a server with human players.
I can change the channel but nothing shows up. I can type messages and see them in the text chat box.
I have managed to fix the problem by deleting my save files. If the game has received updates than users may need to delete their save files to fix any issues.
