Georgia Southern Fan and Stadium Inaccuracies
Hey everybody! I am not sure many people will really care about this but I do as a diehard Georgia Southern fan since birth and I heard the Dev team had been fixing some small issues so figured I would try my luck. I have been going to Georgia Southern games my entire life since I’ve been born. Our only CFB HOFer the “real” Adrian Peterson used to carry me around on his shoulders before games when I was like 3 years old. Georgia Southern is a massive part of my life and always will be so these small nitpicks really did bother me so I wanted to showcase them for a potential fix. I have added two screenshots to showcase the issues. That building behind the Football Operations Center that looks like a huge apartment complex does not exist in any form. There is a small business complex in that area single story with a bar attached to it. That immediately caught my eye as a Georgia Southern fan because that does not exist in Statesboro. The 2nd one that really looks off to a Georgia Southern fan is the fan in the blue jersey with yellow numbers. That would be considered a sin in Statesboro. Those jerseys have never existed and are not real. We do not use gold/yellow in that context with the number and our blue jerseys are sacred to remain the same with white numbers. If I saw someone wearing that jersey at a game I would probably yell at them to be completely honest. It absolutely needs to have white lettering for the number on the navy blue jersey or it comes off very unpleasant to the Georgia Southern fan eye. Lots of gold/yellow in the crowd does not really exist either to the extent that is shown. More white hats and blue hats than yellow and gold ones. All of this being said, I cannot explain how excited I am that we are finally in the game again. It’s been since like 2006 since we have been in the game since FCS was removed and we missed NCAA 14 by 1 year as we were in the process of moving up to FBS. I have legitimately been waiting for this moment to see us in a modern day video game for almost 20 years. I am sorry if this comes off as very nitpicky but as someone who is so excited to see us in a video game, these were some small inaccuracies I have noticed and wanted to make known. Not many people will probably care since it’s Georgia Southern but I do so I wanted to say something. Thank you guys so much for letting me finally be able to see my alma mater realized in the modern day. Can’t wait to get us up to the SEC and win multiple national championships in dynasty mode.
