how do i transfer my in game progress from my xbox game pass ?

hi, i had gamepass ultimate and used to play bf2042 on pc after the subscription has ended i bout the game on sale on steam and linked my steam account to the same ea account that is linked to my xbox account , but for some reason my progress didn't transfer , and i can even see that my name inside the game has changed previously it was my xbox account name now its my ea account name . (i opened almost everything on my prev account so starting fresh is not an option) .
