This is huge to me. Can’t stress about how important rivalries are in the game if you can’t protect all the important rivalries for all the teams. Even the rivalries that may not be big. Who’s to say I can’t make Alabama and Mississippi State play every year, even if I’m controlling an entire different team. I should have that ability. Please provide us with feedback. Thank you.
Exactly. In my Miami dynasty, I HATE playing the Coastal every year because they're just not that competitive, so I want to go divisionless. The ACC IRL is divisionless, AND has protected rivalries. However to do so in CFB25 would mean I'd apparently lose my protected rivalry with Florida State. So I gotta make the choice of whether to keep playing FSU every year but loathe playing the Dukes and Pitts of the ACC or freshen up my ACC experience with no divisions but only play FSU every other year, which breaks immersion just a little too much.
First world problems, but a problem that I shouldn't have to deal with given how this game has been marketed to me. Massive unforced error if this was overlooked.
yeah this is bs. I’m Michigan and I didn’t even change my conferences. I changed them and immediately changed back thinking nothing of it but I think it ruined my protected games in the BIG cause Osu wasn’t on my schedule. Do you know if they’re actually protected if I don’t touch the realignment screen.
