Here's how to disable the Xbox Game Bar in Windows.

Open Windows Settings, click "Gaming," then click the "Enable Game Bar" switch to the "Off" position to disable the Game Bar completely.

MSI Afterburner is a video card overclocking app which can also overlay performance info such as CPU usage.

  • @OskooI_007I feel like it lets me in farther and farther with each attempt, but it still kicks me out of it.

Its even starger that this is the only game that i have that wont work for me

Are you able to click around in Battlefield 2042 main menu at all before the game crashes?

If you can click around in the main menu then I'm leaning towards @Rokebo73 theory that perhaps there's a RAM memory issue causing the game to crash.

To diagnose the RAM memory issue I'd start by disabling XMP in motherboard BIOS. Then see if the game will load without crashing.

If disabling XMP doesn't work and the game still crashes, then I would remove all the RAM sticks from the motherboard. Then plug only one 16GB RAM stick into DIMM slot A2 on the motherboard and see if the game will load without crashing.

Here's the user manual for MAG B760 TOMOHAWK WIFI DDR4 motherboard. Page 27 for DIMM slot configurations.

Take a look in Windows Event Viewer and see if you see any errors for Battlefield 2042. Hopefully that can give us an indication on what's causing Battlefield to crash.

The Applications log in Event Viewer might show some errors for Battlefield.

  • Ok, so i did something and noiw it cant even launch.

  • So I was I just ran battle field and it closed like normal, I was also watching event viewer and I saw a lot of this same message

    on the file

it shows only three of them but there was a lkot of others under the same message

I would try uninstalling EA Anticheat.

Reboot the computer after it's uninstalled.

    Then install EA Anticheat again.

Make sure to the uninstall EA Anticheat from all games so it's completely deleted from the PC.

See sections 'How to uninstall EA anticheat' and 'How to install EA anticheat'.

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/ea-anticheat/

    I hope it helps. 🙂

My best guess for why the game is closing after a few minutes is due to EA Anticheat closing the game.

Why EA Anticheat is closing the game is the main question.

This thread has become quite long which makes it hard to get help from new people. I would start a new thread and include the screenshot of the Event Viewer error for EA Anticheat in the first post.

Also include a DxDiag in the first post and hopefully someone else will have new ideas on solving why the game keep closing after a few minutes.

Asking for a refund is of course another option.

@harrison9lane Hey there! Sorry you're still running into this issue and thank you for trying the suggestions from the folks in this thread.

Could you upload a DxDiag so we can take a look and see if we can investigate further?
