Do you have any overlays enabled in MSI Afterburner, Discord, or Steam? If so try disabling the overlay setting on those apps.
EA Anti-cheat will close the game if it detects any overlays because it thinks they're cheats.
Also try launching the game as administrator by right clicking on the Battlefield 2042 desktop icon.

Here's how to disable the Xbox Game Bar in Windows.
Open Windows Settings, click "Gaming," then click the "Enable Game Bar" switch to the "Off" position to disable the Game Bar completely.
MSI Afterburner is a video card overclocking app which can also overlay performance info such as CPU usage.

Are you able to click around in Battlefield 2042 main menu at all before the game crashes?
If you can click around in the main menu then I'm leaning towards @Rokebo73 theory that perhaps there's a RAM memory issue causing the game to crash.
To diagnose the RAM memory issue I'd start by disabling XMP in motherboard BIOS. Then see if the game will load without crashing.
If disabling XMP doesn't work and the game still crashes, then I would remove all the RAM sticks from the motherboard. Then plug only one 16GB RAM stick into DIMM slot A2 on the motherboard and see if the game will load without crashing.
Here's the user manual for MAG B760 TOMOHAWK WIFI DDR4 motherboard. Page 27 for DIMM slot configurations.
