- creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Leeuw Hi mate,
Definitely not working in portal.
Tried with various scopes with the SWS-10 while using Casper (recon).
Didn’t try in AOW or Solo so can’t confirm that.
But it’s definitely not working.
Can you check at your end or run it past the devs? - creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Leeuw I’m on PS5 if it helps. In UK

See attached.
This is not what happens.
As far as I can tell, nothing has changed.
Scope still sways.
Still have to hold breath.
Soldier still runs out of breath.
🤷🏽♂️

@EA_LeeuwOk, so I’ve done some testing on this..
If you ADS, the scopes sway as they did before.
If you hold breath, it seems that you get the heart beat sound continuously and your solider doesn’t run out of breath and scope is steady.
Is this the way it was intended?
It was my interpretation that you would be able to just ADS and have a constant steady scope without the need to hold breath.
If the intention was to be able to hold breath forever, then I think this is a pretty cheap proficiency.
Firstly, holding breath forever is pretty lame and unrealistic.
Secondly, who would need to hold breath longer then a second or two before taking a shot?
It seems that all they’ve done is added some quick code to dial out the timeout for holding breath.
This also means that in my opinion, recons have been shafted when it comes to the proficiencies.
Recons should have constant steady scope simply by ADSing. - creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Leeuw Can you also talk to them about the X6 scope (the M11 scope that was already in the game).
This scope is not completely steadying.
The ghost hybrid and X8 for example are dead still when holding breath.
The M11 X6 scope isn’t.
It jitters. - creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Leeuw Hello?

Hi @creepnpeep,
It is not necessary to keep tagging/bumping a thread. I think we have mentioned that before a few times as well.
Regarding the issue, do you maybe have a video of the issue?
- creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@EA_LeeuwI don’t have a video but I think I’ve explained it well enough.
Can you confirm exactly how the recon proficiency is supposed to work?
Is the steady scope supposed to take effect as soon as you aim down sight?
Or does the steady scope take effect once you hold breath, resulting in your soldier holding breath infinitely?
It was my interpretation from their info that we’d have constant steady scope just by aiming down scope.
If the intention is to have a constant steady scope ONLY while holding breath, then I think recon has got a raw deal.
Regarding bumping a thread, I wouldn’t post up subsequent posts if someone would just respond or at least just acknowledge that my post was read 😉
Also bear in mind that I was responding to your post. So I assumed you’d be prompt in replying. - creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@EA_LeeuwRegarding the 6X scope, it is not completely still like the other scopes when you hold breath when using it on the Sws-10.
The cross hair is not a solid black line. It appears blurred and also jitters.
If you use any other scope, 8X for example, the crosshair is solid, clear and dead still.
Just try it, you’ll see. It’s the Red Mist SWS-10 6X scope I’m referring to, with the simple black line crosshair.
- @creepnpeep you're actually implying the devs use their own products... well you do need to wake up, unless u wave a proof of broken EULA in front of their eyes they will not change a single line of code in this game
