Dead Space 3 freezing.

I just bought the game. Been having this issue. Upon starting the game up i can go through the options and adjust everything. I start a new solo game, select difficulty and away i go to watch the opening movie. When thats dont i get a loading screen where a load icon in the upper right portion of the screen moves about 2 times and then stops. I waited a while and nothing happened. I did ctrl+alt+del and it says dead space 3 has stopped responding. Tried repairing and updating the game. I have i7 950 3.07ghz, 6gb ram, and a 7970 video card. Video is up to date, with the 13.1 cat drivers. I read that controllers sometimes can cause an issue, which i have a logitech G13 game pad. Unhooked that but that didnt help. I closed out my logitech game software for my g930 headset and closed out razer synapse for my blackwidow keyboard. Im getting really frustrated with whats causing this. Anyone have a solution to what might cause the game to freeze upon loading a new game?
