Dead space 3 crashes when trying to access coop menu

Hi!

so I’ve not played this in years but it seems people are still playing coop on the steam version.. I only have the EA version which will crash unless I run EA play in offline mode.. is there anyway to play coop through EA Play? Or are the servers just long gone and what’s why it’s crashing when it tries to connect to them?
