Funny how at least some people still seem to have trouble decoding corporate talk during those investors calls.
In the secret manual for those occasions you can read:
"what they showed and what we were able to play." use this to describe that you have seen a screen cap of the only alpha version stable enough to not crash after 2 seconds as well as some slides of early design concepts.
"Tremendous live service" use this phrase if you think you can get away selling the game with less content than the previous one by promising new content after launch, then being legally able to drip-feed the players some content (preferably telling them that reworking content available to them at launch counts as 'new content) while at the same time being able to stop said 'live service' at any point if you consider that a good idea.
I must confess that I am not so sure if EA is at the moment still under the impression that they would be able to get for the next installment at least half the pre-order sales they had for BF2042.
My assumption (sincere hope) is that the majority of the player base has learnt their lesson (and will be reminded again before the next one comes out by the content creators/BF influencers in case some have forgotten by then) and will not be swayed by the statements like these we had by Mr. Wilson now.

1. taxes
2. death
3. Bf players foaming at their mouths for the next game from just about anything In the run up to, and post launch of, BF2042 EA said pretty much the same thing; "we're all in on Battlefield", they were working on a mobile game (now cancelled) a single player game (clearly for the next game and not a standalone title) and all sorts of other Battlefield Universe stuff. None of it happened.
I am keeping my expectations for the next game VERY low, that way maybe they can surprise me with a decent BF game.

EA will release a cinematic trailer with explosions, shouting soldiers, zany vehicle tricks, combined with booming drum beats synchornized to weapon fire. Followed by a moderately popular streamer releasing a youtube video titled "DICE has nailed it!". The sheep will all start loaning EA money with preorders.
