Is Red Alert 2 still available to play online??

Red Alert 2 is one of my favorite games to play online. I haven't played it in 14 years. I was finally able to find the game on Amazon so I bought it. I got the game in the mail today. I'm trying to 1) download the online update and it wont download and 2) create an online accound and it keeps giving me the error: "Cannot connect to Westwood Online". Is this game not active to play online anymore or something?? Please tell me this isn't true!!!! Someone please help!!
