Command and Conquer Red Alert 2/Yuris Revenge II HELP

So I bought the Ultimate Collection which includes all 17 C&C games. I have tried multiple solutions to fix the menus freezing the actual menu options not appearing and the screen going black upon playing movies.

I have disabled "Enable Origin In-Game" and have ran compatibility with windows XP service pack 3 and running in administrative mode.

The only thing I have tried is trying to add another screen from Screen Resolution and detect screen to add another screen but I can't add another monitor as the grey box appears. I've also contacted support but none of the solutions helped me which included clearing out corrupted files and clearing out temp files but alas they did nothing.

Could somebody help me? ☹️

    Red Alert 2 is from before the release of WinXP though... maybe try the earlier compatibility modes?

    See in the guide usually there should be a grey box that says "Another display not detected" but I don't have that box in screen resolution options which would usually fix the menu option and running in earlier compatibility didn't work ☹️

    Strange. It shows up right away when I try it. I'm on Win7 Ultimate Edition.
