It's apparently a really common issue too; I've seen loads of reports about it, and nothing done about it so far.

Someone said that it might get resolved if you launch the game executable from the game folder instead of launching it through Origin, but I have no idea if they meant to launch it without Origin being started or not, and I haven't actually seen confirmation of this solution.

    Nah CNC3.exe alone brings up the splash in the middle of the screen which then disappears after a few seconds and CNC3.exe unloads from process manager. Image attached

    But at least no Login.exe launched without Origin active.

    Thanks! Just wish I could help you further. This one's been messing up quite some people's games...

    From what I remember from that solution report, the "starting from the game folder" didn't actually make the dialog disappear, but it made the connecting to the server not fail. So I guess it'd have to be with Origin started, then...
