You should probably ask about cncnet issues on their own forum. It's at https://forums.cncnet.org
I don't think you need to install the ddwrapper if you're playing on cncnet though; the YR patch installed with the YR cncnet files already contains it..
One thing you could try is to open the configuration from the cncnet YR launcher, and try setting the game to use the TS-DDRAW renderer instead.
