C&C Generals/Zero Hour Infinite Money

Question

Hello!I have been playing C&amp;C Generals since I was a kid, and I recently got back into it here on Origin, but I'm running into an issue.Back when I was playing with a good old fashioned disc, I was able to edit the Skirmish.ini file to give myself infinite cash in offline Skirmish mode. The Origin version of the game is not accepting this and I'm not sure what to do. I've looked up the problem on Google but can't find a specific answer regarding the Origin version of the game. If there is something I need to do, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

@Kybaraian What happens when you try to edit this ini-file? The game just refuses to start? So, please explain what you wanted to do and your problem in more detail 🙂

Oh, the game just doesn't recognize that I've edited the file. For instance if I put StartingCash = 999999999, and I begin a skirmish game, the starting cash is still $10,000 and runs out if I spend it. I would like to figure out why the game is not recognizing the change to the Skirmish.ini file. Thanks!

@Kybaraian Yeah, it is strange; the Origin version seems to ignore some ini-files.
