Re: Dragon Age Origins language problem
Ahhh Ha!
You are getting only the Deutsch option because of your location (or possibly, the location of the vendor.)
I would first try changing that setting (your "Country") for your EA/Origin account to be UK or US, then try un-/re-installing. Go to your account settings and look around. I forget exactly where to find it. You can change it back after you get things working.
If that doesn't work, then I think you're back to the option I provided in my first reply:
If after uninstalling your current game you don't get the option to install the English version, you'll need to talk to an "EA Game Advisor". They are the only "official" support people, and you can reach them through the Help Center.

BTW: The reason more languages were included on the CD/DVD was disc space vs. bandwidth. (And even with the disc version not all were included. There are different ones with different languages included. Exactly which ones depends on the location of the distributor/vendor of the product, and/or the customer address.) It is incredibly cheap to throw a few more files on a disc. Even enormous ones like all the recorded dialogue. But in most of the world (and especially in the EU) people pay for their internet by the MB. There would be outrage if EA sent all the those unnecessary bytes for "other" languages to people who would never use them.
Of course they should have included a way to designate which language the player wanted before beginning the d/l process. But since when is EA the most saavy outfit when it comes to understanding how things should work from the customer's perspective? They thought they were doing a favour by providing only the "right" files. <facepalm>
