If you're running the game in Origin, click on the title, (or right click if you have Windows 7 or prior). Click on the gear button for options. Then click update game. If that doesn't work, please come back and let us know.

Unfortunately it doesn´t work. I tried twice to reinstall the game and I was hoping that it starts automatically. Still no response.

Did you try the "Update game" button? Or the "Repair Game" button? I'm not asking you to reinstall the game.

If that doesn't work, you can download the patch from here: http://social.bioware.com/page/da-patches However, you'll probably have to repair the game in Origin after you download and install that.
HI,
I got the same issue. I'm running DA.O on an old computer and cant install origin on it (windows vista).I went to https://social.bioware.com/page/da-patches to get the new patch (to be able to use all the dlc i have on this game) but http://files.bioware.com/dragonage/patch/1.05/DragonAge1.05.exe seems to be broken.
"ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"What should i do ? Can i get the patch somewhere else ? Can you fix the link ?

A working link to download Patch 1.05 can be found on this page-> Find your DLC for classic BioWare games.
While the page title indicates that it is for DLC, the latest patches for the applicable games are linked as well.
I'm so glad someone posted a link with the 1.05 patch listed. I bought the disc and picked up the DLC add-ons but it told me i needed to update first. Unfortunately, as was pointed out the patch link on the BSN site no longer works.
Thank you very much for putting up that DLC link!
