@dacadeflash This is about your own PC. You do have those permissions. Your system is just trying to prevent you from messing with files that might be sensitive to the system.

To get around this, search for Notepad in your start menu, right-click the program and select "Run as administrator". Then, in Notepad, go to File -> Open, and browse to the location where the ini files are located. Since Notepad was started with elevated user rights, it will be able to save the file.

Note that drag and drop into the rights-elevated Notepad won't work; Windows doesn't allow drag-and-drop operations between programs started with different rights. So you really do need to use the File -> Open menu. You can paste the path in there though to speed things up.
