Re: Huge FPS Drops on high end PC

Game is extremely unstable on the performance side.

Quite apart from the plethora of rendering problems evident on SLI, the performance of the game at 1440p/Ultra (with some reduction in post-processing and AA), well underneath my VRAM cap is abysmal. The tutorial demon fight was a combination of fighting against the controls AND the performance.

For info my rig...

i7 Haswell @ 4.4ghz

780 SC ACX in SLI on 344.75 and 344.80 fresh deployments, via a raft of different NVCP settings

32GB 1866 RAM

OS, pagefile and game client on high performance SSDs, with the game client on a dedicated Samsung PRO.

Win 8.1

To put this into some perspective, I can run Battlefield 4 at 1440p/Ultra with just a single frame issue when up and close with active armour. That's it. This, by comparison, feels like a huge step backwards especially considering the much slower pacing and traversal.

There is something fundamentally wrong with how this game currently works on PC.

I have a GTX 770 on my alienware computer and most of the time in the Storm Coast or Hinterlands its anywhere from 30-60 fps (usually in the 30's to 40's) So annoying...And yet with nvidia geforce experience the optimal settings for my comp is suppose to be ultra or high on every setting save 1 or 2...
