I have the same problem, but it’s Josephine that’s gone! ☹️

And I’m not about to restart the game since I’m about 50 hours into it!

Yup same problem, only it's Cullen thats MIA for me. Restarting is not an option since im 45 hours into the game. I agree with the OP, seemed to happen after I did Bull's mission with the chargers. Does anyone have a fix? Im on PS4 if that helps.
