Logitech Dual Action controller not working

This isn't uncommon with Logitech and using x360ce emulator usually fixes it in games. DS3 tool and DS4 tool don't even recognize my controller so those don't work for me...

When I try using it in game (with or without any emulator) only the bumpers work. I have to quit the game, unplug controller and restart to get it to go back to mouse/kb.

I really want to use my Logitech dual action... Has anybody got one to work somehow?

I am having the EXACT same problem and thank everything that I am not the only one, because I have found NO support and have exhausted EVERY possible solution including using different versions of x360ce emulator, reinstalling the game to a different HDD, trying multiple controllers with/without motioninjoy, unplugging keyboard, disabling origin in-game, verifying with device manager that controller is recognized properly, you name it - I've done it.

The game knows that there is a controller plugged in but it recognizes the keys in the wrong spots and only a few. For instance, right tumbstick click = "start", right bumber = "A", left bumber = "Y", right bumber = "B", and I can only assume judging from the sound but no action that left trigger = "X". None of the other keys render a response and every possible combination/configuration of files using x360ce including "xinput1_3.dll" through "xinout_9_0_1.dll" will not register or fix the issue. I am mainly trying to get this to work on a Logitech Afterglow PL-6302, but I've tried another Logitech (friends- can't remember model), and also PS3 Dualshock. The Afterglow has proven to work with other games including Middle Earth: SOM, and Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 so my knowledge of x360ce and the controller are not the issue.

I'm using a Windows 7 x64, NVIDIA GTX 750, Intel i7-4820K 3.7 GHz, 16GB RAM. The only conclusion I can reach is this game needs to be patched with updated gamepad settings. PLEASE can you get a work order in the next patch because playing with a keyboard and mouse is just not gonna happen the way this game is built. Thanks!

Same here, not using any of these third-party programs folks talk about... just plugged in the controller. It works fine in games like FFXIV, but here just the bumpers work - right bumpers are A and B (I think) while right stick press button is 'start'. Nothing else works.

I have the Logitech f710 and it works with the "X" input but the controls are horrible, about 75% of the time when walking or running it looks like you have a bad leg and sometimes justs stops walking completely. At first I thought it was just supposed to make the rough terrain more realistic but it even does it on flat open floors. I've stopped playing until they fix this.

I'm having the same odd mapping with a wired 360 controller. It didn't work at all before, though. So... progress?
