Cole's Personal Quest Won't Start

So I just acquired the amulet for Cole, and I went to give it to him. As soon as I tell him I have it, he disappears and I have to click, "Search for Cole." One of his higher approval cutscenes triggers (the one where he tries to console the nurse and stuffs it up and re-does it.. or doesn't if you tell him not to.)

When I finish that scene, the quest still tells me to give him the amulet. Thing is, I have no dialogue option to. I can't talk to Solas, either. I lost all his approval recently with a decision, so much so that I didn't even get a cutscene to discuss it with him like every other companion.

Anyone have a workaround?

I'm having the same issue. I can't get the cutscene with the nurse to trigger on its own prior to obtaining the amulet with my dwarven character.
I was able to finish Subjected to His Will with my elf, but I can't seem to isolate the time and problem that causes the bug for my dwarf. I don't want to go back hours to avoid it!

I have the exact same question, and no solutions can be found online. Not being able to finish the game with every companion's card changed really annoys me.

I read somewhere else online that if you give Cole the amulet before you have had all of the "cut scene" conversations with him, the quest will bug out and you can't finish it. I am stuck here too. I managed to give him the amulet and have the cut scene with two other characters addressing it, but after the cutscene it still says I need to give Cole the amulet. I may put the game down until this gets fixed, I'm nearing the end but I want to finish all of the companion quests first.

Still a problem after the patch that just went live. Cannot give the amulet to Cole, so cannot advance.

I have the same problem. It's funny that the first time I gave the amulet to cole, his actual quest started. After I finished it, I decided that I needed to revert to a save prior to that (wanted to know the other possibilities with this quest). After reloading my save, once I talked to cole, he disappeared and the quest bugged.

Oh come on EA! Can you fix that bug already? Its been a month! Do i have to start the game all over again to complete it? (i dread to think that it can happen again though...)

I've made it a bit further. I give cole the amulet, talk to Solas, then game crashes during loadind screen. Anyone have any luck finishing this?

I could be wrong, but I think it's not about completing all of his other cutscenes, but getting his approval high enough.

After giving him the amulet, which gives a great boost to approval, the quest bugged and didn't trigger the next cutscene, but instead when I talked to him, I got the high approval cutscene with the lady and Pierre.

Somebody said they got to the next cutscene before the game bugged, which is why I think it's from his approval, because it is possible to increase his approval again in the next cutscene.

However this is my theory. I'm just another frustrated player, not somebody who knows a lot about this stuff.

Anyone find a resolution to this? I still have this issue, and it looks like it's not going to be fixed in Patch 3...
