Re: Glitched below Skyhold - wondering what this is (top hat with ears?)?

My understanding is that during development the devs had an issue falling through the floor there due to slow draw times on the play machines....ie it took so long to load the area people fell through the floor that hadn't yet drawn.  The story continues that it happened so often that the devs put something down there to look at just because, instead of leaving it blank....honest opinion, they should have put a sign down there and said, watch that first step...and sorry about that step time to reload...or a teleport/access port back to where you want to go...

But it is what it is, basically a joke or something funny put in to entertain you when you run into this glitch or issue.
