I didn't get to uninstall as the hard drive just died.
I tried resetting the pc that didnt work either.
I literally had to put a fresh windows install onto my PC.
I will not be downloading EA ever again as i will not be having to re download all my games again because of this crappy App!

Hi @Buzz6996940843,
That's what I thought that happened, was hoping it would be something else but alas. You didn't have to fully reinstall Windows as I think that running the Microsoft Troubleshooter would suffice:
I tried this, I build pc's on the side have done so for many years and have a so I know alot about them.
I literally tried everything.
As i said even resetting it and wipeing all files from the remaing c drive didn't help.
Reinstalling windows was the only option I had left.
I just won't be Re installing Anymore EA app's in the future.
@Buzz6996940843 Try to uninstall any VC++ and EADesktop app by using this MS tool: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d
Then try to install latest version EADesktop again.
@MADrag0nDon't need to plus if u read my posts my drive died so I couldn't uninstall it as I took the drive out as it was useless. Plus I had already ran the Ms tool before and it did not work, as I stated I had to do a clean install of windows and after all this and losing everything on my pc I will no longer be reinstalling EA on my PC again, it is not worth it.
If you cannot uninstall / install something, then you can use that MS Tool, regardless of the connected / disconnected SSD / HDD.
You are free to use or not use any software ...
Good luck.
