Did the issue happen BEFORE the mods were installed, or before they are supposed to be seen in the game??  Cause if it is just before you are supposed to see them, they COULD still be causing the issue.

So I would suggest you remove the mods, repair the game, and probably start a new game......maybe do a speed run on easy until you get to this point to test it...
