I couldn't download any games from EA app...
After searching i found solution in my case - I have 5 disks, and tried instaling on F (all my games go there) without succes. I changed disk to E, and now there is no problem.
Maybe your app have some problem with range of disk names?

Thanks for the update. I have multiple drives as well, so each time I have to change it. When you change it in the EA app settings, every game you install should just go to that drive by default!
I just got hit with this problem after playing the game for the pass week I have no idea why. I already tried clearing the cache and restarted both apps but I still can't play
