I'm sorry for all the frustration you've run into getting help with this issue. I wish there were more we could do through Answers HQ, but we can't make account changes over Answers HQ. Unfortunately, you can't deactivate or delete your EA Account by yourself either. This is a request that you need to stick with the support team for.
Could you take a look over the different account closure options listed in this EA Help article: How can I close my EA Account?, including the Right To Be Forgotten (RTBF) section at the end please? It may help with straightening things out with the live support advisor in case the type of account closure was the source of confusion for them.
Also, if you've been reaching out through email to date, try opting for live chat or phone instead if they are options that are available for you. Those contact options offer real time support and might help clear up any confusion there on the spot rather than through a slower over and back through email as you can correct them live and deal with one advisor versus the many that can respond to emails. Head over to help.ea.com and select 'Contact us' to start filling out a help ticket for them and choose from the available contact options that pop up.
