i am 50 hours in the game almost finished everything and still got 0 achievements both in the EA platform and steam is this ever going to be fixed? ive tried every fix i found on the internet with no results

Hey @Liak0poulos if you own the game from Steam then you'd need to look at your settings there.
Darko i have already done that , and messed even if the html files on steam on attempt for a fix , nothing happened , and like i told you i dont have achievements on the EA app as well ill provide a screenshot
- @EA_Darko I'm launching from the EA App. I can earn achievements, but there's no notification that pops up in-game, so I have to open the app to see what I unlocked.
- @UnwaryCoin yeah it does not work for anyone it seems on Jedi Survivor. Basically you don't get the achievement pop ups cause the in game overlay is not working. So no chat, no achievement pop ups etc. So if your press SHIFT+F1 you get no overlay, this is the issue. It only seems to be a Jedi Survivor issue as other games work ok with overlay so something buggy between EA APP and game preventing overlay working

- @UnwaryCoin Yeah its not you so don't worry. Hopefully if enough people raise this issue the support people will just stop giving every one the cut and paste answer they do to ever problem telling people to try stuff that will do nothing in this situation as the issue is clearly a bug in the EA App. So fingers crossed it gets sent up the chain to one of the App Devs who can actually fix the issue.
Is this happening even with the EA In-Game Overlay enabled in the EA app settings? Mine is disabled a long time ago (to improve performance back in BF 2042 or BF5 I believe) so I wanna know if disabling this overlay would prevent the achievement unlocked pop up from appearing. But if everyone is not seeing these pop ups even with the overlay enabled then I don't wanna bother enabling it since Survivor already has performance issues lol.

- @ReconFX I have it enabled, but it doesn't work. (There was a disclaimer that said some games don't support it, but I'm not sure if Jedi Survivor was meant to be one of them.)

- @xxCOOPSxx I don't think it's the case, EA App simply does not have this feature, you don't get achievement popup in any game.
Which is weird because there are notifications for "your friend is online" or "your friend is playing <game>" (I saw these during a fifa 23 session), just not for achievements. Yeah it does have this feature and has worked perfectly in every other game i have played via the EA App. Had no issue with achievement pop ups in Jedi Fallen order, Mass effect etc. The only game i have had issue with was Jedi Survivor. I don't know if its still an issue in Jedi Survivor now as i already finished the game and moved on to other things but it is definitely a feature the EA App has of course when it works
- @xxCOOPSxx very curious, so far I've tried several games where it did not work:
- SW Squadrons
- SW JS
- FIFA 23 - @xxCOOPSxx okay small correction, today I went for "Training Addict" in FIFA23 and observed the right bottom area of the screen whether I'll get any notification and it was there (!), much to my surprise.
But it is so so small that without paying specific attention it's easily missable.
It should be bigger lol. I can confirm that it works in SW JFO, I haven't booted Mass Effect LE so no clue there. But for Star Wars Jedi Survivor it does not work at all. What's more I got the deluxe content and none of it is really even there for me to use. Like at all, the achievements don't show up even when I probably already completed them so someone fixes a bug 10 more takes it's place it seems.
