Can you better explain to me what this means because I have no idea what the first guy was saying. I literally know nothing lol.

The box was checked and so I removed the check and restarted. No joy. Selected the box again and restarted. Still no joy. Tried the other guys solution of creating an Electronic Arts folder and running the install from inside that. That didn't work for me either. I'm running Windows 11 and have everything updated. I also tried a third guy's solution idea of ending all xbox processes. Nope!

This info really helped with EA desktop. But crestes another One. Everytime i Open forza Horizon 5, reset my vídeo settings, giving me ONLY 2 tedious options. Reset PC after untickiing 8-utf or put the videosettings back again where i left them. Eithher way, EA * to solve this. Installing origin again 🤣

The EA app does not support Windows 11 and when that's not because of your servers its because of your app that I can't access MY PAID products. Go * yourself EA, I quit this app and all possible games that'll come through your hands. Can't do anything with your *, spending money on your platform was the worst idea I ever had. 

You know what actually Origin worked like a charm. I might continue enjoy your games... Not with your app.

I tried this solution, but it was already without a checkmark, tried to checkmark it and then "uncheck" it, but it's still not working...

It keeps giving me following:

"The features you are trying to use is on a network recourse that is unavailable"

ea never cared for any customers. they care about profit.

the installer also wont install in win 7 with als esc updates. the support ist talking and takling bs since 6 months and nobdy is helping.

who will refund for all my paided games now???

I'm having the same issue. Tried just about everything besides coding the game myself and no one's solution has worked for me. Even went so far as to removing the SelfUpdate folder from the Origin Program Data folder with no luck. If anyone gets an answer for this, PLEASE HELP! 

Or maybe just teach me how to get my Origin games onto Steam (without them being installed on the PC - had to factory reset PC and now starting from scratch unfortunately) because we need a solution that shows EA how disappointing they are, and a mass migration to another app would be a brilliant slap in the face: MAKE SOMETHING THAT WORKS AND KEEP IT THAT WAY FOR ALL CUSTOMERS, EA GAMES! Can't believe the company has the balls to remove their old platform when they haven't ironed out all the creases of the new one - ESPECIALLY compatibiltiy with new OS, like c'mon, it's 2023, SURELY we're over this technical hurdle by now! ☹️ 

One of the suggested solutions to "cannot install the EA app" for playing The Sims 4 was to uninstall The (Origin) Sims 4, login to Steam and download the (free) Sims 4 base game, link Steam account to EA account and the DLCs will then show up on Steam.

Sadly I cannot verify this however since once the game is launched Steam launches Lets GO get the EA App splash screen promptly returns an error message. (I am also using Windows 11 fyi.)

Probably not what you want to hear.

UPDATE:

I found another thread with a link to an EA Desktop Client Download installer file. Doing this caused my computer to freak out and crash, but upon restarting, EA has downloaded successfully and I am currently downloading some games!

I feel dumb what does this mean. I have windows 11 and I have tried over and over and the eap will not install
