So its a downgrade of origin which could do that is what your saying.

Edit: From a while ago but from an EA Employee

When installing the EA app, there is a button that you can press to customize the installation location.

You can find it by pressing the CUSTOMIZE SETUP button, which you can find on this screen:

Hey @Rudolf_Fischer,

The EA app does not support the feature to be installed in another directory than the default assigned install directory that is chosen by the EA app.

Lmao that moment when EA employes don't know how their launcher works.

They removed the option to change the actual launcher location during install, it only allows you to pick the game library location, it almost looks like they are trying to deceive people into thinking they are picking the launcher location and to this day they still haven't fixed that.

So if you had storage for games, good luck cause EA doesn't care 1 bit.

  • The only workaround is using Steam/Uplay/Battle.net/Rockstar-Launcher/Galaxy/Epic-Games-Launcher and skipping the EA-Launcher using games. In Steam/Uplay/Battle.net/Rockstar-Launcher/Galaxy/Epic-Games-Launcher you can choose the install-directory of the launcher.

I am looking into the EA-Launcher installation from time to time, if they have fixed the problem.
