'Search Players' function in Player Career Mode

I just want to request that the 'search players' function from Manager Career Mode to be added to Player Career Mode in the new game. Just in case I want to link up with former teammates or just other players in general, I need to know which team they play for at that point in the career mode if they switched teams.
