This is not how the EA app Error Reporter works.

I specifically called out on the first page of this thread to share the EA app Error Report ID here, in this thread. 🙂

When you submit the Error Report ID, without posting it here, it indeed goes to the EA app teams as well. However, the Error Reporter will not, and will never, create a separate EA Help case for this as this is not how the Error Reporter is supposed to work. It would have been better to share the EA app Error Report ID here, so we can include it directly in our investigation.

The reason the thread has been marked as Solved is stated in the post that is marked as Solution.

    @AramKurdo, don't apologise! You can share the Error ID's here, in this thread, if you want, please. 🙂 Thanks! That way I can send them on to the teams directly for their investigation into this issue.

    Did you take a look at the marked solution of this thread to see if that is also applicable to you?

    yes sir i never had origin all i have is steam, also did all the sub and additional work NON helped. blank EA App and not game launching persists.

    im all waiting for your help and resolve please. dont let me be disappointed this new year 🙂

    @AramKurdo, so just to confirm, when you open the EA app itself and you log in with the EA account that is (supposedly) connected to your Steam, your Collections is empty in the EA app?
  • @EA_Leeuw i cant login to EA App at all previously like 1 month ago before EA App thing everything ran without issue but when EA App came by just a blank EA app appears and does nothing i even updated it from DoS in the folder tried every *.exe in EA App folder non launched anything! problem is here that not only itself doesnt launch even doesnt let game launch! â˜šī¸

    @AramKurdo, you can't log in the EA app at all? Hmm, that could very well be part of the issue, since you need to be logged into the EA app in order to launch/play the game via Steam. Why can't you login to the EA app?
  • i really dont know i tried even VPN nothing could log the EA app. is there anyway to bypass it? its really a pain..i attached the screenshot

    @AramKurdo, it looks like your install of the EA app is corrupted, the icon doesn't even show in the taskbar.

    Have you already tried to completely remove Origin and the EA app from your machine, with Revo Uninstaller for example (try at your own risk), so it can search for possible leftover files and delete those as well?

  • yes like 10 times i fully unistalled with "Unistall Tool" that its same as Revo removing leftovers (but didnt tried Revo) and downloading new one but still doesnt fix. also i said i never ever had origin at all.

    @AramKurdo, what kind of "Uninstall Tool" was this? And did you have Origin installed previously, or not?

  • @EA_Leeuw its name is the same "Uninstall Tool" it even cleans registries its legit.
    no my dear friend i told you 3 times already i only have steam and EA APP its installed by BF1 i never had origin i never bought anything from Origin so there is no origin causing problem for me its purely EA APP itself!
    its christmass and 4 weeks passed yet me and dozen others problems have not been fixed because of this buggy EA APP ........

    Hi everyone, 

    It looks like the updated solution of this post, the one that contains the workaround/fix for this issue, seems to be the solution to this issue as well. Having multiple versions of the same game installed on the same machine, but via different launchers, may cause issues. It is recommended to only have one version of the said game installed on the device, via one launcher.

    Because of this, we are considering this issue resolved.

  • @EA_Leeuw i finally could play BF1 (or any EA game) now only by installing windows. i installed windows with deleting partition and just accidentally pressed EA APP & BF1 and surprisingly it launched! i still dont know what caused the problem i really like to know.

    only thing is EA Support didnt do NOTHING and helped nothing and only random thing resolved my issue. i am doubtful if this thing doesnt happen again itwill i know and i lost my hope to any EA Help so i will think twice for buying any EA games from now on !
  • Actually the problem with not launching BF1 from Steam and subsequently EA app, was just solved for me after 3 months since my/our reporting in November, on my machine, clearly via an update on the side of EA.

    edit there was quite some interesting updating in the EA app Roadmap, right? Here info e.g. from 20 January that was lacking otherwise from EA here in the Forum. 

    Patch notes — EA app version 12.89.0.5346

    • Updated the app installer and game downloads.
      The app should launch more smoothly, and games should start up more efficiently now.

    Patch notes — EA app version 12.50.0.5307

    • Resolved issue with the app crashing after launching Steam and Epic games.

    guys i told you the solution here. EA support doesnt even know themselves and they had no help for me i found out the problem randmly!
