Re: Battlefield 1 Steam Won't Launch x EA app

The support from EA on this (I've tried multiple methods to try and get support for this) has been awful. The fact that I couldn't access my paid games since the new app was made mandatory (which was quite some time ago) until now is shocking. There were countless posts on this and yet this wasn't publiclly flagged as an issue... I had to find my OWN temporary resolution. In future, I will just refund the unusable products on Steam. No accountability, nothing... Thanks.

I've had the problem for over a year now cause I tried the early access to the new app when it dropped, so I've not had access to any titles at all. I'll try download something now but I have my doubts due to the sheer amount my time wasted on useless support and trying to diagnose the problem myself. 

Although even if it is fixed, that won't change the fact I won't be buying a product associated with EA again. 

Which sucks because there's a few games coming I'd like to try, but honestly I'd rather go without than fill the pockets of this scummy company. The lack of support and communication is pretty shocking, even considering it's EA.

I hope many others join me in boycotting these absolute hacks.

So I tried, I can install my games now but they still won't launch. I tested with battlefield 1 and something that was weird is they have it listed as me owning standard edtion through origin but DLC is listed under steam... I never got the game on steam, sadly I got everything I have on there besides battlefront 2 on origin. So I'm screwed there, I even have games I never got to play once hahah!  
So essentially they're literally robbing my account of games. EA are truly disgusting.
