Re: I bought xbox game pass ultimate, but can't play ea games

As a human consumer who has paid real money for a service, I believe one should never go on Internet to find a solution to a problem caused by a service provider that ends up rendering the advertised product or service non-existent, AND browse for a long period of time to find several unhelpful suggestions from people only to realize the provider has NO direct communication medium but only forums, which provide solutions on a non-specific, shotgun-like basis.

Nevertheless, my XBOX account WITH XBOX Game Pass PC subscription IS linked to my EA account, as seen on profile.ea.com, yet my EA Play subscription is unseen by the EA App, which as far as I am disheartenedly (I may have made that up) aware is the only way to play my XBOX Game Pass games that are exclusively from the EA store. I have tried unlinking and relinking my account, resetting the password or other unlikely solutions but in the end I have faced exhaustion from my fingers' end.

I trust the humanity's need of respect from each other and therefore think that at this point I should cease trying to find a solution on my end and expect the service provider to fix their problems or issues that they seem to face when doing their mission of providing services that are not free. Or at least show the much needed communication of their incapability to serve customers their money's worth, on their advertisements or support pages. I apologize for the unnecessary (for the reader) banter but I suppose I kinda think crying like a baby is the only help I will be getting from being on this forum.

    Should be clear at this point that they just care about $ - not about if service that they are promoting works or doesnt.

    Every single respond from EA i've read regarding this issue has stated that it has to be Xbox - or end-user problem with subscribing wrong plans.😞

  • It appears after a day my EA Play subscription has been acknowledged by the EA App. I have half-expected this outcome since I had posted my original post in the day of activating my XBOX account, hence the probability of a certain time frame to pass to be needed was not entirely out of the question. HOWEVER, there is by no means enough communication from EA about this matter, it took hours until I gave up and decided to check the status the next day (today). By this I point to my statement regarding communication and to the possibility of EA Play not activating AT ALL. It's as simple as adding an extra question mark to a support page and relieving at least a day's stress on the customer's end. 

    Although I do admit I had nothing better to do and wasted my hour or so on a dumb matter like this.

    And to others who have a problem, this might be it but as I said in my first post, there is a wide variety of problems possible.
