Re: EA app stuck on 'Applying Update'

So I am currently updating my battlefield 2042 off of the EA app on my PC and it keeps getting stuck on applying update when it reaches 100%. Now in the past I have had problems with this game due to it overclocking my PC to high 90-100% of my CPU when I check to see how much battlefield is taking up. Then it crashes my PC but that is a whole different problem alone. Right now my battlefield will not finish downloading the newest update and is currently just sitting on applying update. And I don't know what else to do. I have cleared the cache and still nothing. If anyone knows how to fix this please help.

    Thanks, eventually it said it was verifying lol.

    its been over 45m for me and hasnt moved

    im now at 1 h 30m and its 10% verified

    damn they cant even update their game properly im almost 2 hours to apply an update?

    i install and can play bf5 in under 30 minutes

    how is this game impossible to update?
