What controller to get for EA FC 24 PC?

What controller would you suggest? PS5 DualSense or Xbox One controller for FC 24 PC?

I'm more bent into PS5 controller because it doesn't require rechargeable batteries but its not well optimized since PS doesn't affiliate with Microsoft and Xbox One controller is better optimized but the batteries set me back.

What you would get? Thanks in advance.

@byshyy If you sit close to your pc then just have the Xbox controller wired in. I've used the elite controllers plugged in by USB for years. Response time maybe quicker to when plugged in, though probably not noticeable
  • @byshyy I have used PS4, PS5, different XBox controllers, ect. Really it comes down to preference and feel of a controller. Right now I use a Power A Fusion controller that is similar to the XBox Elite controller that's wired in. It's the Fusion 2 but the Fusion 3 looks to be a bit better in my opinion. It also has a short and long thumbstick length and mine came with a white and black removeable faceplate.

Another option is a cheap PDP Afterglow XBox 1 controller. I used it for years and it stays with my laptop for when I use it to game on the move. It's perfect and does everything I need it. From Battlefield to Call of Suck to Forza for some fun drifts.

Just stick "power a fusion 3 pro" in a search window and it will pull up the controller and you can have a look. It runs about $80 USD.
  • Get anything with hall effect joysticks. It's a game changer for me, no stick drift after few months of use as I had with every Xbox controller I've owned. And feels much more precise and responsive. I'd get Gulikit KK3 Max or Flydigi Apex 4.

  • @byshyy I use an Xbox controller with mine. Got a charging dock for it a loads of spare battery packs that are fully charged at all times. Between my daughter and myself we game quite a bit and theres been a few times where I'm in the middle of a game and the battery runs out, which has me frantically replacing the battery before the opponent scores. I'm not a big fan of wires, so tethering myself to the PC through a cable isn't my idea of fun. The battery life on my controller lasts quite a while before I need to swap it out.
