Trial Ended

I bought the EA play trial for EA fc 24, but still had 1 hour left upon game release. I bought a code from my friend, and activated it, whilst this 1 hour left on my trial was still active. Once my hour had passed, I was shocked to be kicked out of the game and told that I may not play any longer due to my trial ending despite me owning the full game (because I activated a key). I still may not get on the game, and whenever I attempt to, I am greeted by a message reminding me that my trial has ended. Is there any fix? I don't want to spend another 50 pounds on a game I already own. Please help
