Re: EA app Error "An update is required to launch this game..."

When I go to load my Sims game from the EA app, it states "An update is required to launch this game; Visit the Game Hub to begin your update". There is no update. I have cleared the cache in the EA app. I have uninstalled the EA app, reinstalled it. I have also uninstalled the Sims game and reinstalled it multiple times for both EA and Sims. I have only downloaded the Sims 4 base game thinking maybe it was a game pack issue. Is anyone else having issues similiar.

I have tried to contact EA but unfortunatly there is no way that I can find to contact them for additional support. Please help.

am having the same problem. my previous problem was that hte game wasnt opening via steam so i deleted it from my steam libary and redownloaded the game, now i get the same notification as all of you. seems the problem wanst with steam but ea all along. hopefully they fix it soon.
