Also another one on this, have you guys also found that your players especially wingers and fullbacks are just not making any runs? I know how to trigger them and that works but the actual intelligence of the AI to get in behind and run into space is so terrible to the point where it has to be a bug. Would really appreciate you guys letting me know if these issues are related to the lack of sprinting as well 🤷🏻‍♂️

So to update on this: 

I did delete the game and all its data, at first I re started a career mode with simulation difficulty set as the default settings. Loaded up a game and there was no change. Gutted. 

However - I then deleted the game and all its data again but upon restarting the game set the default settings to classic fifa. This 100% fixed the sprint issue from the 2-3 games I’ve played so far, however the issue of players not making runs into space they should blatantly be making is still there. Terrible AI intelligence so for me the game is still unplayable.

For the record I know how to make players run with L1 but this just makes them run in a straight line aimlessly. There is more creativity and fluidity when the players (used to) make the runs on their own IQ. Hope this helps. Just need AI improvements and the game will be at least bearable. 

@CharlieInkpen99thanks, that's something at least. Have you tried touching the sliders at all since doing this? Or would this break sprinting again as no longer the default settings? For me, sliders are the only thing that make the game semi-enjoyable.

Annoying about the AI not making runs, I would suggest adjusting the run frequency slider to help with this....but I guess you can't if you want sprinting to work. The state of this game ffs haha. I'm normally someone who just accepts it's a pile of ____ and so only plays a bit of career mode now and then, but it's literally unplayable this year.
