@wotcher123 ahhh shame, thought that was a glimmer of hope. Haven't touched the game in 3 weeks.
So to update on this:
I did delete the game and all its data, at first I re started a career mode with simulation difficulty set as the default settings. Loaded up a game and there was no change. Gutted.
However - I then deleted the game and all its data again but upon restarting the game set the default settings to classic fifa. This 100% fixed the sprint issue from the 2-3 games I’ve played so far, however the issue of players not making runs into space they should blatantly be making is still there. Terrible AI intelligence so for me the game is still unplayable.
For the record I know how to make players run with L1 but this just makes them run in a straight line aimlessly. There is more creativity and fluidity when the players (used to) make the runs on their own IQ. Hope this helps. Just need AI improvements and the game will be at least bearable.
